Skills and Personal Characteristics Required
Candidates for these positions will possess:
- Solid knowledge and understanding of software development concepts and methodologies: structural and object oriented programming.
- Good communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies and skills.
Technology Experience and Skill
Required in any two of the following (more is preferable):
- Visual Basic.NET or C#
- Visual Basic 6.0
- Active Server Pages and VBScript
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Oracle
- PeopleSoft
- Microsoft Access + VBA
- MS Project Server
Role Expectations
In these positions, depending on the skill level, the candidate may be responsible for:
- Designing software solutions to meet customer needs and specifications.
- Assisting in developing solution proposals and estimates.
- Designing and implementing customer databases.
- Developing and testing software according to specifictions.
- Supporting and enhancing previously developed software solutions.
Compensation
Salary for these positions will depend upon skills and experience of the candidate. Generally salaries will range from $40,000 - $80,000 per year.
