Sycamore Software takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following information describing our privacy policy, including what information we collect and what we do with that information.
Sycamore Software collects personally identifiable information when a visitor requests a quote, inquires about employment at SSDC, or requests media information. Additionally, we collect information from our customers when they submit a support request. This personally identifiable information is collected through several forms on the SSDC web site (http://www.sycamoresoftware.com).
When a visitor fills out one of these forms, we ask for some or all of the following: first and last name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number, and fax number. Depending on the form being submitted, we ask for other information that we use to service your request.
SSDC also collects generalized traffic information, including IP address, date and time of visit, and page(s) requested. This information is used in aggregate form, for internal analysis only. In addition, the SSDC web site may set cookies on computers that access the clients-only portion of the web site. The use of cookies is explained in greater detail below.
SSDC will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. SSDC may send personally identifiable information about web site visitors and clients to other companies or people when:
- We have a person's or client's consent to share their information;
- We need to share personal information to provide the product or service that has been requested;
- We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of SSDC to provide a product or service to you (these companies, in turn, are restricted from using this personal information in any other way); or
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process.
SSDC may set and access cookies on computers used by clients to access the clients-only portion of the SSDC web site. These cookies are used only to allow the site to function properly, and to provide clients with a customized user experience. As with the other personally identifiable information we collect, it is not used for any purpose other than the reason it is collected.
Information accessible in the clients-only portion of the SSDC web site is password-protected for privacy and security. This password information is not shared with third-party companies.
SSDC may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will post a notice on the SSDC web site, and/or contact our customers by telephone, postal mail or e-mail.
